Liese Gardner has been supporting creative entrepreneurs since 1984 when she was named editor of the newly formed Special Events magazine. As the voice of an emerging industry, she was instrumental in the development, growth and marketing of brands that would then become a vital part of the mainstream multi-billion dollar hospitality industry.

In 1999, Liese formed her own consulting firm to continue to promote creative entrepreneurs from the event industry as well as related fields to it such as photography and art. In the past decade, she and her team have run many successful marketing campaigns using content marketing, social media, community outreach, media interface, and web and blog design.

When not working on marketing campaigns, Liese connects industry leaders, consults with brands on social media and PR, and writes articles on inspiration for business, design and life on her popular blog, Fuel: The Passions that Drive Us. She has an audience of nearly 20,000 people who tune into her from all social media platforms and in 2016, Liese was named one of the top influential event professionals on Twitter. And she was very proud to have been inducted into the Event Hall of Fame in 2015 for her contributions to that creative industry.
