I began my career in journalism as the editor of a magazine called Special Events. Filling a monthly magazine with 60 pages of articles, I honed my craft – learning how to find the center of a story—what matters, what resonates, and how to bring it forward with clarity.
That early work shaped everything that followed.
Over time, I found myself drawn to creative entrepreneurs who were building something meaningful, often with incredible experience behind them. They were unsure how to articulate that work in a way that satisfied them and connected with their ideal audience. I began helping them translate their work into story, and their story into something others could see, understand, and value.
That process became what my clients later called Brand Therapy.
It’s a way of working that is both intuitive and practical—part reflection, part strategy.
Together, we uncover what is already there and shape it into something clear, relevant, and alive in the world. Through this work, I’ve helped hundreds of brands and individuals grow their visibility, deepen their message, and connect more meaningfully with their audiences.
At some point Brand Therapy became more than marketing a service. It became Brand Therapy for Creatives.
Some of my favorite moments have been mentoring and teaching. I’ve taught workshops online and held university seminars on marketing, storytelling, and creative work. The core idea is always the same: The most powerful stories are the ones we’ve already lived.
Over the years, I’ve continued to evolve alongside shifts in technology, media, and the ways we communicate. But one thing has remained constant—people are still searching for meaning in their work, and for ways to carry their experience forward into what’s next.
That is the foundation of my book, Reframe.
It’s an invitation to look at your past not as something behind you, but as the raw material for what you create next. Through creative writing workshops, and now this book, I help people reconnect with their creative voice, stay visible in a changing world, and build on what they already know.
Because nothing is wasted.
Everything you’ve done becomes part of what comes next.
