Reframe Writing Workshop
This summer, I am offering a special new workshop inspired by the central idea behind Reframe: your past work is not behind you. It is the material for what comes next.
So many writers feel they are starting from scratch. In truth, you arrive at the page with a body of lived experience, insight, and creative work that simply needs to be Reframe. This workshop is designed to help you reconnect with that material and shape it into something meaningful, whether that is a memoir, a body of content, or a larger body of work.
Each participant will receive a copy of Reframe, a guided workbook, and access to six weeks of live Zoom sessions. These small-group sessions are both practical and collaborative, offering space for conversation, reflection, and forward movement. Along the way, guest appearances from published authors will offer insight into their own publishing journey. You will learn how they navigated it, what they did right and what they would do differently.
Throughout the workshop, we will explore several key areas:
Reframe: Working with resistance
Every meaningful piece of writing brings moments of doubt, perfectionism, and hesitation. Rather than avoiding these, we work with them. You will learn practical strategies to move through the messy middle and continue making progress, even when the path feels uncertain.
Reframe: Your story
Through guided exercises, journaling, and discussion, we uncover the deeper layers of your story. This process helps shift your work from surface narrative into something more intentional, resonant, and lasting.
Reframe: Marketing your work
This is where many writers hesitate. Many hope their work will speak for itself. But no one can hear that voice if it isn’t connecting with anyone.
I many ways, this is where the true work begins, long after you type the words The End. In today’s digital landscape, sharing your story starts long before publication. Together, we define your voice, clarify your message, and explore how you connect with your audience in an authentic way.
Whether you are writing a memoir, building a body of content, or developing a professional platform—from a book to a newsletter to a white paper—we will create a strategy that aligns with both your goals and your audience.
